I am hosting a dedicated Valheim server for a small group (possibly up to 10 Vikings). We currently have 6 members. and have killed The Elder.

Looking to advance and play with a tight-nit group.
Will entail asynchronous farming and building, but synchronous bossing and exploration.
No mods
NA, EST time zone
Modifiers:
Difficulty : Very Hard
No Map
No Portal
Fire Hazards
Death Penalty : Casual
Rules:
18 or older, but be mature and respectful.
Fresh start, no gear or leveled character.
No client-side mods.
NA, EST time zone to play with the group.
You must use Discord and be in the voice channel when playing. You do not have to talk, but must be able to listen.
Max time for going AFK in or around the base is 5 minutes. This is due to raids.
In general we want have a shared co-op experience. This means no doing any dungeons solo and we will be killing the Forsaken Bosses as a group.
Try to stick in the current biome for fairness and group progression. No skipping ahead and limit exploration to the tier of biome we are in.
Stick to the current island that the group is on. There are exceptions to this rule, such as farming in the ocean biome and making a material or trade run.

Our servers do sound very similar, but I want to go all in on the increased difficulty in a pure vanilla setting. I am sure it would be great to have a large group to play with though.

definitely down to add ya as a friend as i'd love to keep up with ya and how your run goes, we're pretty married to our mods though 🙁

I understand the mods, people really seem to enjoy them as it adds variety and Qol. I might even do a run after this one with mods. I will dm you a friend code on steam as that is were I am most easily reached.

Im no expert but i think you can offer a mod pack that uses like azu anti cheat and server characters or something like that which can eliminate the possibility of it

Yes, however everyone would need to insall it to play on the server. We have people who are not tech savvy with us and they dont want to do any extra installing of mods. I would otherwise have minimal mods installed.

You can install "azuanticheat" (on the server) which prohibits players from using mods you have not "white" or "greylisted". You can also install "Servercharacters"(on the server) which blocks world hopping of characters and materials by saving the characters server side. If You don't have those two...I'd count on cheaters (especially with your rule set) Even a close friend of mine... sadly was cheating the whole two years I was playing with him by using client side mods to boost his stam. I have since vowed never to host or play on a server that doesn't have these two mods.

Honor system will have to work not everyone wants mods or even to have them installed on the server.

@mint rose Is there still an opening for this? This is absolutly perfect for me. I'm a veteran with about ~1200hrs-looking for a new and immersive challenge. I simply love building and organizing. Don't mind grinding either.

Great idea, but i cant join a vanilla server that doesnt have the mods to prevent cheating. We are different if you think the public is honorable
