Hello there.
I'm looking for people to regularly or semi-regularly play Valheim with, or really just gaming friends who are on the same wavelength as I am, personality- and gaming-wise. I play with my brother occasionally, but we are eternally at odds with each other, so I'd also like to have some Valheim and general survivalcraft gaming friends who are actually on the same page as me. I am the kind of viking who:
①Balances aesthetics with functionality.
・I try to build nice bases in nice spots, sure. But even if I spend some extra time building for aesthetics, the stuff I build always serves some sort of progression-based function.
②Is considerably nomadic.
・I tend to build a new base for each stage of progression, along with small camps while exploring. I'm looking for someone who can join me on my travels.
③Is not in a rush.
・While I am progression-minded, I'm not in a huge rush to complete the game. I've finished Valheim in singleplayer, and so I'm really just looking to enjoy the building and progression as a cooperative, social thing.
④Wants a genuine co-op experience.
・My brother and I usually end up just playing separately in the same world because we can't build together without fighting over pace, function, and aesthetics. I'd like to actually work together with friends to build villages and camps, with a collective understanding that no single player has total control over the build.
⑤Is not a die-hard fan.
・I think Valheim is a good game, but I am not a die-hard fan of it. I have my complaints.
⑥Enjoys combat.
・I can't call Valheim's combat anything but atrocious... but I still enjoy it as a veteran of action combat games.
⑦Is a mentor and respects spoiler-free environments.
・I'm open to playing with new players in a spoiler-free environment. I'm better than most at keeping my mouth shut (but not perfect, I'm sure).
If you think you're on the same wavelength, let me know. I'm open to No Map/No Portal runs as well.
