Any particular reason for the rule we are not allowed to build in the Ashlands other than a small portal shack? I can understand not taking over a fort or other poi there but not the entire biome.

It’s because the Ashlands already has a high instance count, about 6-8k just standing there (unless it’s been changed in the recent update). With an instance limit of 10k it just isn’t feasible to build there. Why not ask a question like this in the Discord?
Plus building in the ashlands sucks
