Idyllwylde is restarting one of our dedicated servers with a new world today.
We run modded servers with restarts every month or so (whenever we finish the latest boss).
Servers are hosted in the USA, and are backed-up every 6 hours to allow recovery from bugs and griefing.
We ask that new players join our Discord server (Idyllwylde Gaming) to get more details on mods, rules, IP and password.
Rules
Treat other players with respect.
This is a R rated server & discord, 18+.
No excessively cruel or crude language, memes, pics, videos, etc. (racist, sexist, homophobic, pornographic, gross, inhumane, etc.)
QoL mods are ok, but mods that break the competitive pve aspect of the game are forbidden.
No cheating, stealing or griefing.
Server enforces character info; join with new character (no importing items from another server or getting gear from another server, etc.).
Make sure your in-game and discord nickname match.
Disclaimers
Valheim is an indie pre-access game.
Lag is a big problem.
Cheating stealing and griefing happen.
Deaths can occur for no reason.
Disconnects can erase all your gear and the server can crash and push the world back 6 hours or ahead several days.
You can let something like this ruin your evening, unleash your frustrations on your friends, scream and uninstall valheim. Or, you can laugh it off.
If it's possible to fix, we'll fix it. If not, well... at least you'll have friends and can still play valheim.
Mods
We are running mods to add Player skills (WackyMMO and Professions), Boat customizations, and many others to enhance magic, recipes, and early weaponry. Check our Discord server for more details on getting the mods.
