Yeah, we'd have to electrolyze all our fuel unless playing with a modded atmosphere
that is counter intuitive in an extend given that electricity wasted on this form of production means that you effectively store energy in the form of combustibles. And it is not not a guarantee the same energy density as storing it in batteries
primarily because to achieve optimal steciometry you will need alot of oxidant that will have to be stored in your own mass
Interesting to place the game in the archean era but it really limits power opportunities
I think it would be much better to have a mod to add this as component, this way it will be possible to be complemented by modded planets with oxidant reach atmospheres without breaking the logic of the core game
I altered the atmosphere in my worlds to have a more modern 80% nitrogen 20% oxygen so air breathing internal combustion is possible. Liquid O2 is heavy
