Why not just reduce the ambient mob spawning rate?
@opal stag
By ambient mob what is the list of that mobs?
i think just bats
if all you want to do is limit the amount of bat spawns then you don't need entityclearer
The hostile mobs too
you can limit every mob type
I see thank you
I'll try to read this
entityclearer can be used if there are spawners or something with a lot of mobs but if it's just regular vanilla mob spawning then reducing those limits would be a good first start
Ah btw how do I make the messages appear it seems confusing for me and I want to set every 5 min to clear
give people the permissions to see the messages and set the interval to 5 at the top of the config
The global right?
yes
Oh and does it appears the title message as well? It looks cool
if you set a message for it to use in the config yes
If I want it to set every 5 min do I need to disable low tps?
no
title-message: ""
subtitle-message: "" i found it how do i actualy say 3 2 1 do i just copy the subtitle thene change 3 2 1 ? then after title message for success ?
message
sure. it tells you all the placeholders in the comments above
i did make ambient mobs to 0 why did it affect the other hostile ?
mobs come and go depending on the loaded chunks and how far players are from them
oh no wonder im on solo rn
i set it to 30x30x30 radidus and 5 mobs whats your recommended point for extreme survival players ?
oh and why did the bats still spawn i did turn it to 0
i wouldn't go much higher than like 10 blocks, maybe even 5
did you restart the server
yes i did let me try again
they were probably there from before then
you can run /minecraft:kill @e[type=bat] to kill any existing ones (note that it only will check loaded chunks though)
so i set it to 5 blocks radius whats your recommended entity count
i mean the "recommended" settings are what i set as the defaults
oh ok ahah
the lower the number the more agressive it'll be in removing them tho
5 min or 10 min
that's up to you, i can't decide that stuff for your server
alright restarting ill be back in 1 hr to see the performance
