#Millionaire Tournament Fixes.

I previously made a suggestion about a Friday Millionairs Tournament, however after the Blackjack Addition and futher thoughts I now have more to add to the entire tournaments suggestions.

  1. Alot of people want to play "Real" Poker that you can't get as frequently in lower tournaments and cash tables. Therefore I think this game needs more of these Millionaire tournaments for example on friday.

  2. Adding to this, the Millionaire tournament prize structure is very low. In blackjack you can spend 25 minutes and earn 10 million from 1 million with ease. In the Millionaires tournament you spend 1 million, go through a difficult stretch to the final table where you may not even win anything, and if you do its either minimal of just a slight profit or you must win to get just above 10 million.

To fix this specfic problem I believe the final table should be payed out as such:
6th: 1.8M
5th: 2.5M
4th: 4.5M
3rd: 8M
2nd: 15M
1st: 22.5M

Not only would this reward players for there hard work but also it would encourage more players to join them creating a more enjoyable challenge and give those massive amount of people who have earnt 100M in one day from Blackjack something to do.

Your idea is not bad. But a lot of players don’t play the millionaires tournament. I don’t have actual facts in front of me, but I believe only 25 players were in the tournament last Saturday. So I am not sure if this is a good rewarding strategy for Poker VR as a company.

When Poker Tournaments are held, they normally consider the buy-in, how many players entered and if there is any rake involved. They also decide how many places the tournament pays out. I would suggest that PokerVR uses a payout system that actively tracks the number of players and the payout adjusts accordingly. At this time I believe the payout is static and does not change with new entrants.
