Do you mind if I make a suggestion? If it happens again during a showdown tournament where it shuts down before competition. Take last nights short stack for example. It had 5 players remaining players. Instead of the 5 players just splitting 1st place points of 1000/5 = 200 each. May I suggest next time you take the points for the 5 remaining positions.
1st 1000
2nd 500
3rd 333
4th 250
5th 200
=2,283 points and divide those equally among the 5 remaining players. 2,283/5= 456.6. So 457 for each player. This way the same number of points are still awarded. Thank you for your time.
