I have never once wondered "Who has over a trillion in chips right now?" but I have wondered what the leader board looked like for my current tournament - only to have to wait 2 mins for the data to scroll to my active tournament and then have it disappear in an instant so it can show me 3 other tournaments that I also don't care about. How about removing the scrolling to other tourneys and if I want to see it, I'll click on the tab myself - otherwise, just show me the active tourney and don't move the data to others unless I specifically ask. Please?

I'd like to see an ability to 'lock' the leaderboard to a specific one in its cycle, so when I open up the leaderboard it defaults to that one as long as it's running.
When the tournament ends, the 'lock' would be turned off and my leaderboard would again cycle, until I chose another thing to lock it to.

I have to agree with this. The ability to “lock” the leaderborder. When I join the tournaments, I enjoy watching how well players are doing within the tournament. Helps me to watch my game and to keep an eye on the players that are doing well 😉

Leaderboard improvement suggestions

I've made this topic more generic, I know there's a lot of people who are interested in improvements to the in-game leaderboard, and not just getting the connection back in place for updating the Meta Leaderboard (also on our list, in a separate place).

I'd love to see more thoughtful additions here: How do you envision using the leaderboard, where do you envision being able to review it, will you be able to see your rank in relation to the leaderboard, and what about that of your friends? How often should it reset?
What ways do you envision using it for your own enjoyment of the game?

These kinds of details and more can serve to inspire!

I'd like to see a place I can see the top gains AND top losses in this leaderboard.
If there were drop-downs to drill down into info, I'd see it as having a series of drop-downs like this:

  • Gains vs Losses
  • Timeframes (last day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days)
  • Earning type (Tournaments, Cash table earnings or Discord bonus payouts)

Tournament earnings would be wins minus any entry fees paid, which is also how someone can get into losses with Tournaments in the search function.

There would be no losses for Discord bonus payouts filter, but it would let people confirm their own challenge hands & lotto payouts.

I'd like the ability to opt out of appearing on the leaderboard entirely, and maybe if I do that my name shows up as Anonymous Poker Player or something like that.

As a complete side note, having a robust leaderboard to go through would give something for players to distract themselves with when they're otherwise annoyed or just bored. Folded out for multiple rounds with bad pockets, having just lost in a frustrating way, etc.

Please bring back the top 20 bankroll leaderboard. Lower balances won’t appear here, so no one will be “targeted” Or even top 50. We’re having to use the scoreboard app to track this but it’s not very ideal.

Agree with @grim sparrow . Positive effects of top 20 or 50 in game cash leaderboard (Live) can possibly improve user engagement, motivate users to compete in a healthy manner and increase overall in-game participation.

Thank you for re-igniting this topic @solar solstice ! I enjoyed our chat on the table about this topic, too.

As I mentioend on the table (for others here to read) It it always helps for the dev & admin team to hear the specific things that make different features compelling, and the things that features like the leaderboard are used for.

I hope to hear other thoughts and ideas and suggestions for improving this feature!

thanks for your contribution @scarlet rose ! There is definitely a lot to work on for this small start-up team, and reading more specifics on this leaderboard topic is awesome!
