Some characters are starting to clutter the screen with too much wonky junk.

Big offender is the newest character Adele. All her abilities are a bright purple that just clutter the screen. The shield ability is particularly annoying because she both holds her shield up and gets a giant bright bubble. I think just holding the shield would be enough to get the point across.
Another example is Bayle. He is designed to build attack speed but his auto chain is so wonky it looks silly all game. I’m sure the community can mention other examples.

This is something that should be handled before it gets out of hand and over the top like smite.

To piggyback off what they’re saying, not only is the animation making it cluttery during fights, but anytime there’s a lot of ability animations going on or sometimes even just regular basic attacks, it seems like there’s a lot of rubber banding and glitchiness going on. I understand sometimes Internet service can play a role in this, but it can’t be that every time. Thanks for listening 🙏🏼

@brisk nacelle See for me it’s not only the new people but also just veteran characters. I’m not sure what the technical issues might be, but there could definitely be improvement when it comes to how smooth things run when you are trying to use abilities, and the enemy is suddenly on the left when they were on the right. 😅😅

I have this same issue and I used to think it was just my net connection.
So then I swapped over to LAN and I STILL had that issue.

There does need to be some polish on the animations and also the sheer amount of VFX.

I like the VFX work, but sometimes I feel like it does absolutely slow my game down.

there is just way too many bloated vfx and clutter. like why can players still not disable these absurd damage numbers that even get bigger on crits? why cant i disable my character flashing red everytime i take 1 hp dmg. the reason i never play jungle is because i almost get an epileptic seizure when camp minions damage me. especially when the character i play is big like riktor, rampage or steel. also why cant i disable hit marker huds. why does steel need this orange glow along his punch path every time he does a standard attack. pred overall is just a visual mess where i cant often tell what character i am fighting and in teamfights i only track healthbars instead of the actual hero. dodging attacks is more by sound instead of visual feedback. just watch og paragon gameplay on youtube. it was waaay clearer when it came to visuals you could actually see whats going on.

but this topic has been brought up many times during ea and nothing has changed, they just keep releasing more clutter vfx and never bothered to comment on that topic so i have 0 hopes that it will get any better. just look at bayle and neon for example. heroes omeda crafted and both heroes have terrible terrible stiff and wonky animations

the problem with the glow, server connection and visual feedback is super weird when you play against terra as range character. her shield glows so much that you tend to aim for it and missing her more often that other big characters

also still no semi transparent health bars years after development, the game is just lackluster on the visual department, which is really bad for a moba whose biggest selling point is the 3d and third person aspect
