What do you do in offlane when someone is freezing lane at their tower line? I'm not an offlane player but sometimes I get stuck in the role and I'm just not sure what to do. I feel like I get punished for clearing the wave. If I rotate they still get ahead.

to be honest, take jungle camps if it is bad enough that you might die trying to get minion waves. jungle camps aren't only for the jungle. sure early game it benefits the jungle to have a full rotation but if you cant farm, and you cant do it safely, your pulling the team down. so take blue side jungle camps or even the enemy jungle camps if you can. or ask for a gank from jungle or mid to help get you unstuck

Most players don’t actually know how to freeze a wave indefinitely. So likely if you’re patient it’ll push out to you within a wave or two. If you are too low or scared to step up for last hits, at least try to be in xp range.
Number 1 is just don’t give them the opportunity to freeze by not clearing the wave too fast. Killing all their minions super fast so they can back up and hold your minions at tower line is a mistake. If you do this and think they’re gonna try and freeze, you can stop it by pressuring them if you have enough health and mana.
If they have froze successfully and you can’t break it yourself your options are pretty much:

Ask for help from your jg or mid to break the freeze (or even ask duo lane teleport over)

Make them mess it up by going for Cyan buff and them coming to stop you

Invade enemy jg and steal camp

Steal your own jgl camps - (try not to do this before your jungler has upgraded hunt. But if for instance your jg is invading enemy jg at that time they probably won’t mind you taking a camp)

Tp to duo for a gank

Do mini prime or roam to fangtooth
