#Aurora build for offlane
14 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Interesting time to ask this as patch 1.3 should be released in a few hours with a bunch of relevant new items and other big changes. so its kinda hard to recommend a buildd right now.
So far the build would be something like
Brimstone (upgrade to Fireblossom after 2nd item at the earliest)
Magnify
Flux Matrix
Followed buy Unbroken Will (against heavy cc)/Stonewall (armor)/Wardens Faith (more armor, physical power reduction, anticrit)/Crystalline Cuirass (more magic armor)/Megacosm (max health burn)/Tainted Guard (reduce healing based on being hit with basic attacks)/Tainted Scepter (reduce healing based on dealing magic damage, including the fireblossom aura and the burn from megacosm)
Finally world breaker if you didnt fill your remaining 3 slots with the situational items
Now with the new items? Id say something like this
1st Catalytic Drive
followed by Fireblossom, Rapture, Magnify, Fist of Razuul, Flux Matrix in some order.
id say 2nd and 3rd should probably be fireblossom and rapture. 4th magnify 5th razuul 6th flux matrix or world breaker.
If the enemy team is very cc heavy, probably replace Flux Matrix with unbroken will. If they are very tank heavy, probably fit in a Megacosm somewhere. If they have a lot of healing... in all honesty I think youre better off sticking to the afore mentioned items and telling your team to build antiheal. If they have a morigesh, potentially replace flux matrix with crystalline cuirass
Alr here is what i have so far:
Against magic offlane:
Catalytic Drive -> Rapture -> Magnify/Prophecy/Fireblossom -> Fist of Razuul/Flux Matrix/3rd items -> World Breaker/4th items -> as 5th
Alternatively:
Brimstone (finish after Flux Matrix) -> Rapture -> Flux Matrix -> Magnify/Prophecy -> Fist of Razuul/4th items -> World Breaker/5th items
Against physical offlane (or in jungle, for that matter):
Brimstone (finish after Rapture) -> Rapture -> Magnify/Prophecy/Fist of Razuul -> World Breaker/as 4th items -> as 5th items
Crests: Typhoon/Tempest
Notes: not sure if Typhoon is worth it without Prophecy. As for Prophecy, you build this item to splitpush and quickly take down undefended towers, so you should be doing that if possible. It also helps with objectives, but you have a carry for that so its not as significant. Also means that its a bad idea to build prophecy as 5th or 6th item, because you likely wont be doing much splitpushing anymore at that point.
As for armor, you probably always want Fireblossom (except perhaps if the enemy team has no physical damage at all), because other than armor it also provides good hp and a very good passive. you dont want much armor beyond that because especially with new demolisher there is a lot of armor shred in the game. There is, however, not too much anti-HP, so HP will likely do much better in keeping you alive against physical damage. As a bonus, it also helps with magic damage and counts towards your own damage from all those items.
thanks you for this tips it really helped me in game
Magnify is a solid choice for an early damage because of shred and omnivamp works with your passive. Elafrost self explanatory but tainted guard second is better because of anti-heal and damage against blighted targets. Elafrost is for slowing people down, armor, mana regen and ability haste to hit consistent cc and be able to spam q if you getting ganked. 4th is now you magical defense you should go with unbroken or Crystalline Cuirass or tainted bastion. I prefer bastion because the mitigation is too good to be skipped on and it double whenever you apply blight against targets. Note anti-heal in this game doesn't stack but if an adc gets hit by tainted guard you gain 6% mitigation against them.
World Breaker, well see it for yourself.
Stonewall or giant's ring
some problems with magnify: 1st omnivamp is better obtained from rapture 2nd the shred only has value when enemy has magic armor, which is only later in the game hence im not building it before 3rd item 3rd rapture is just kinda better.
elafrost imo mostly a worse version of fireblossom. you can learn to manage your mana. dont always use ur abilities to clear the wave. turns out you dont rly need mana regen.
tainted guard is only decent if 1st you have a lot of armor and 2nd they have a lot of basic attackers. also antiheal tends to be heavily overrated
for magic defense, if you didnt go catalytic first you should get flux matrix, the item is perfect for aurora and incredibly cheap with good stats. unbroken and crystalline are only as second magic armor items. or unbroken against a lot of cc. bastion sucks. if you need antiheal beyond tainted guard that badly and mid or support dont alr have it for some reason (consider reporting them), consider tainted charm. especially if youd buy double tainted. one item slot antiheal is a pain if its not tainted guard and fits really well. two are simply a waste.
