Get more cs/min, dodge more enemy abilities and autos, land more of your abilities and autos

watch league of legends videos on good lane management and good map rotations for your respective role. Translate that info to here. 👍

Most ppl in that Rank struggle to play the lane and just try to hit abilities.

Like do you try to get Level advantage if you have more wave clear and then collapse on the enemy?

Do you freeze and push at the right time?

Do you reset at the right time or do you overstay?

Play Khaimera and sing Ocean Man in your head while bullying mid laners that aren't Gideon

Plat is high elo, you are peaking out, welcome to greatness

Play carry based characters and roles, like sustain damage burst, then get your team to prioritize prime and primal.

#

Low ELO is terrible about getting those objectives. Take the jg out? Look into a neutral obj.
Or just bait it out and catch one of them. Make sure you tell them in chat.

Know your matchup and know when and how to push your advantages. Minimise risks by not making too many risky moves. Capitalise on death timers by taking objectives or invading enemy jungle.

#

There are many small things to do but in general there is a very strong correlation with CS/Min and rank so that's a thing you can always work on

Find a group to play with. Honestly solo q will only get you so far. You'll eventually hit a wall without a team. Even if it's only 2 people it's better to increase comms as much as possible.

# dusty mica This is really bad advice, ngl... Tons of people in high rank solo que, some eve...

Some do. Yes. I'm creeping Plat soloq as we speak. That said a high rank 3-5 stack that plays together often has a higher chance to win than a team of solos. Until there is a dedicated solo q there will be a wall hit by the vast majority of players.

It's the same in league and r6. The cream of the crop players have the capacity to go above and beyond in solo against stacks. Anybody below them will hit a wall against stacks. Its why there was a huge push for a soloq option for siege. Once you get into high gold or Plat it's a good idea to start looking for a dedicated group of people to play with consistently.

I guess I could have worded my initial response a bit clearer lol

Lane management in huge.....even in my currently plat 2 games, I've won mirror matches soley based on the fact they didn't know how to manage a wave

#

managing a wave keeps you from getting ganked as often, increases your exp, and allows for safer last hitting

Learn matchups, learn the limits of your character, know what you want to do at certain points of the game, and adjust to fit the flow of the game

#

in the jungle i know what i can and cant gank, when i can and cant gank, where i should be at on the map at certain times to catch camps spawning, places to check for wards, positioning for objectives if i know i wont be bothered, etc etc

#

and in the midlane i know to try to full clear my wave asap while conserving mana and making plays to secure river buffs to deny my enemy midlaner any mana. also with my pick i know i can rotate to a fight in other lanes quickly so i look to see where i can be to take advantage of my superior lane farming and higher level. ill force objectives by asking my jungler for help to secure things like Fangtooth early, and if im lucky get a double mini orb prime in a game

#

and these are all things im thinking of doing before i load in

#

while im loading in i see my matchup and my opponents matchups, try to figure who will win and who wont because that can mean extra rotations from fed laners, i try to see if the enemy jungler is a more aggresive one than my own (or myself) and i try to pick and choose my targets

#

i tend to have a good idea how most lanes will go in most scenarios, worst scenarios, and best scenarios

#

my countess solo could skill issue a grux

#

or she can die on cooldown

#

so TLDR just plan for the game before you get in and try to stick to said plan

#

know whats valuable and go for it, and try to communicate with your team best you can on what you wanna accomplish

#

some people especially at that MMR just forget objectives are there

#

thats why the higher MMR Khaimera player solos Fangtooth

#

or thats why i have to spam ping everything to get people to move where i want them to
