Also I can't find team comtress in the itch app, I'm assuming this has to do with how i installed it

I ended up copying my tf2 folder, installed the manual comtress files into that and booted from there, it loads the splash screens and starts to load the main menu then crashes
Solved it
found comtress in itch and installed it there
