#V-sync setting for TF2, use in-game setting or driver V-sync?

I run a G-SYNC + V-sync + NVIDIA Reflex/Low Latency/FPS limit for singleplayer games. I'm wondering what the proper settings are for TF2 specifically on whether to enable V-sync in-game or on the driver.

About G-Sync's refresh rate limit: it's a generally good practice to set your limiter to a number calculated with Refresh - (Refresh * Refresh) / 3600.0
i.e. a 138 fps limit for a 144 Hz G-Sync monitor

Enabling NULL already does that automatically, but for some people it causes "issues", et al.
For me, it hasn't, so I have it enabled instead of a dedicated limiter, but your mileage might vary
-# Side note: I enable it using nvidiaProfileInspector, so that could be why

About V-Sync: as far as my A/B testing goes, it doesn't matter where you enable it
Though if you have doubts, you could always use proper external tools to verify and measure any differences
