hello, i currently am using medium-low settings with flat textures in order to attain a constant 250 fps, but im getting a lot of dips below 250, even going around to 140-150 despite having a powerful system
#i have a 5700x3d and an rx6800, but still receieve lower than desired fps.

That's normal especially on a populated server. Flat textures also won't improve performance if you are using it for that reason. Low GPU usage is because you don't need any more GPU power than what is being used. <20% cpu usage on a 16 thread system is also normal from tf2, the rest is background stuff.

hello everyone, it seems that i fixed my issue
under the suggestion of a friend he recommended i turn up my settings because of the power of my system, and it's actually worked
im using the mastercomfig ultra preset and im experiencing a more consistent frame rate, usually doesn't go below 200 now
