Best snapshot buffer preset for non-laggy entities?

For engineer buildings and halloween bosses, or failing that would anyone know the absolute minimum cl_interp possible before the HHH becomes a slideshow?

iirc anything under the default it starts to stutter, i think it just gets worse the lower it goes
