I have a custom hud that uses custom fonts for things other than the chat box. Is it possible to change the chat box font by editing the custom HUD files? I’m hoping this could be an easy workaround to fix fonts on Linux.
Also, would it be possible to include a Linux font fix option as an addon for mastercomfig?

i guess you can change modifying resource/chatscheme.res
but idk if is something exactly since huds can instantiate others files
tf2 fonts in linux is very weird
is not that is "wrong" but it needs some fonts from windows, you can install but otherwise it will default to another one
also in middleman hud the fonts needs to be installed in the system $HOME/.local/share/fonts (maybe its needs for all huds? idk)
and also the font renderer is different on linux so it can still looks different
needs to be documentation about making mods compatible and how works
