There are two folders for tf/cfg/app and overrides.
Is there a game_overrides.cfg in the app and overrides folder?

yeah that does much more than mastercomfig does by default so there could be some things going wrong
i'll take a look at the config to see what it's doing
and just checking, the config you're currently using is 1:1 to the one in the github page you gave? you didn't modify anything else?
