Is it just sparks instead of blood? I really dont understand why its automatically enable for low.

i don't know the specifics very well, but i believe regular gibs spawn more objects, and they also end up spawning blood decals on surfaces they touch. Its not as good as no gibs at all, but its slightly better than regular gibs

idk if it's a documentation issue but it suggests that sillygibs are more performant if gibs are off, and less performant if gibs are on; i don't really understand how this could be the case.

I guess the gibs that are silly are worse, but if you disable those gibs, the other things like blood on the half zatoichi would become the thing that's worse.
