snapeshot_buffer question

Would there be a problem if I were to change snapeshot_buffer in the middle of a POV demo?

Using SVR to record demos in high quality and it has an option to input commands when I start the recording. I don't wanna have to put a recording cfg every time I want to record something.

why would snapshot buffer matter if you're recording a demo?

also, the game only lets you change lerp at super specific times anyway, so the game probably wouldn't even let you if you tried
