whats the default hz rate in mastercomfig is it set to anything?
becouse i seem to have a issues with the 144hz i have on my monitor only in tf2, game seems to run at 60hz when i have 150-300fps in game at most times, while in csgo that doesnt seems to be a problem.

mastercomfig doesn't (and afaik can't) modify the hz that the game is running at
if there was anything modifying your game's hz then it would be the -freq launch option (which shouldn't be set anyhow unless tf2 is for whatever reason not picking up your hz which it should be by default)
for troubleshooting you could put -freq 144 in your launch options to ensure that it's being set but that'll probably not do anything
