I found a reddit post that says switching to a dxlevel of 81 fixes it, which seems to be true, but I don't feel like playing on dx8

Eh. Could be because we’re at that point in summer (in northern hemisphere) where summer is in full swing, but not deep enough to where the heat has lost its novelty. Also the summer sale and all the summer game events haven’t pulled people back yet.

I’d take a peak at the trends over a couple years to see if it’s worth thinking any deeper than that on. But you should also take a peak at key prices if you’re into that sort of thing, typically right around the big sale times they drop in price, especially in December, they’ll drop like 20-30%

One year I had $100 sitting around and put it into keys when the price dropped and sold them a month or two later. Made like $30 which is enough for some nice games now.

It's also worth noting that the higher your FOV, the more distorted it is. You effectively see less at the edge.

There's also disadvantages to higher FOVs. For example things in front of you are smaller, which can make certain classes harder.

I think at most, it's a sidegrade with a higher FOV, not a strict advantage.

I think that there's a lot of people who advocate against wider FOV ranges who haven't played with it or against other players who have it for long periods of time.

Anecdotally speaking (which isn't much better to be honest) in TF2C the FOV you use doesn't really make a difference. I didn't notice any difference in kills against others or me amongst people with different FOVs.

my understanding from very briefly looking at it is: your hud opens a url with parameters for the quickplay site to use, and then the quickplay site then opens a steam link to connect to a server.

When I did my any% speed run for finding a bot in casual, on a random day at like 5pm, it took my 2 queues to find a blatant bot, queued for upward and badwater.

Honestly I think they target the most popular maps almost exclusively.

Also I’m like 75% sure that if you are in a party of any size, your chances of finding bots SKYROCKETS. Because if I queue with my noob friends we basically only get bots. I used to think it was an mmr thing, but it could also be that bots stick together, idk

4 wheel drive is when a car sends power to all 4 wheels of the car, and has the option to only send power to just 2 wheels of the car (front or back). The reason to switch to 2 wheel drive on the fly is that it could reduce gas consumption and tire wear on the unpowered tires.
It’s often confused with AWD (all wheel drive), which sends power to all 4 wheels all of the time.

4WD was basically only seen on trucks as far as I can remember. I’m sure it existed on SUVs to lesser degrees, but it was actually pretty common on trucks. AWD is more often seen on SUVs, crossovers, sports cars, basically anything that powers 4 wheels that isn’t a truck.
Hybrid technology has made this a little more confusing because now you have lots of cars that will be full electric on one half (usually back) and full gas engine on the other, which allows you to have a lot more programmed control over the electric motors.

as far as I can tell from looking at the code, the game looks at a hidden scoreboard variable in the player's statsCurrentRound for revives, and the health needed to revive is maxhealth + (numRevives * 10)

Pretty much. I don’t think it’s a scam, because to my knowledge there weren’t ads on the website, so they just paid for hosting that out of their own pocket. Maybe they made money off the increased traffic to their YouTube, but probably not a ton in the grand scheme of things. And they also invested a lot of their own time into making materials and stuff that they could have probably just made more money if the made more videos with that time.

I just think that weighing the odds of:
