The degreaser bonus not applying until the weapons been out for .5 seconds seems unintentional to me because it's not communicated anywhere and it's the same amount of time that a weapon takes to be ready normally

The bonus could be made to not apply until the degreasers equip animation is finished, but that would still be faster than .5 seconds

there's also a general bug where airblast has an extra cooldown if you switch to and from the flamethrower between airblasts

So very odd question for the more technically informed people here:
I've been benchmarking the performance impacts of various UI element control types all for the past couple days, using 5000 identical panels to get measurable results. And one result stood out as VERY noteworthy, Label elements with text with a 500% increase in ms/f.
Here's a few data points to illustrate how much of an outlier it was:

Control Test: 9330 frames 32.613 seconds 286.08 fps ( 3.50 ms/f) 24.055 fps variability
5000 EditablePanel: 9330 frames 64.995 seconds 143.55 fps ( 6.97 ms/f) 5.927 fps variability
5000 ImagePanel: 9330 frames 68.659 seconds 135.89 fps ( 7.36 ms/f) 5.134 fps variability
5000 Label w/o Text: 9330 frames 68.169 seconds 136.87 fps ( 7.31 ms/f) 5.211 fps variability
5000 Label w/ Text: 9330 frames 205.037 seconds 45.50 fps (21.98 ms/f) 0.500 fps variability

I did some investigating to see if there was any particular reason, including toggling font antialiasing on/off, font size, color, etc. all gave results within margin of error. I did notice that in my control test GPU usage and CPU usage were at 39% & 34 % respectively, with the label w/ text usage was at 14% & 42% respectively.
I'm curious if anyone has a technical explanation for why it is such a big difference vs other panel types? I assume fonts are processed dominantly on the CPU, but I'd think that if that were the case font antialiasing would have some notable change.

I just generally don’t send files for download in public discords. Always seems sketchy to me. Probably for no reason.

The file is literally just a bunch of layers of nested EditablePanels with the inner most layer being all Labels in this case. For a total of 5000, takes about 5 minutes to replicate with copy+paste.

Plus yeh. If you’re good at doing something, don’t do it for free. Valve realized they were good at making games in the early 2000s so they protected their IPs so they could contract or sell it if they wanted.
