tidehunter carry does work we (as in my dota friends) have tried it multiple times in turbo to really funny moments
But he isn't that good if the enemy can get a break early game and stomp on your farming/snowballing (viper and hoodwink heavily counter him, primal and pa are really good against him mid game onwards)
but yeah lategame once you build all items like satanic etc you are practically unstoppable (even with a break)
he is a much better at carry from mid as the early levels on mid assist in him snowballing faster
but yeah once snowballing with anchor smash facet he is just straight up broken
a carry that deals heavy amounts of damage, reduces incoming physical damage and is immune to all forms of cc
