I’m a archon 3 venge mid only main in SEA server. I go venge mid every game and rush khanda.

Every time I go to a bar, party, or any social event in general, I try my best to avoid telling people what I do. Every time I tell women I’m a venge mid rush khanda they start hitting on me.

Last week I went to a friend’s birthday party. Told his sister I was a venge mid rush khanda. She kept asking me to “magic missile her” and “to swap her husband” in a flirtatious manner.

This is a reoccurring problem. It’s gotten so bad that I tell women “I mid sniper khanda rush” so they will stop hitting on me all the time.

Any advice on how to stop attracting so many women as venge mid rush khanda?

vs tails winrate

they have no relation right

but basically because the matchmaker is essentially trying to get you between 40% and 60% winrate, maybe even 45% to 55%

well there's going to be uneven sampling of win probability vs. the random stream of coin flips that are 50-50

so that introduces a bias into measurements which can impact the data or explode a small correlation

because lets say, we have a true win bias of 49% dire

but because of variations in the win distribution, you then sample that dire coinflip to be a much larger set of the losses

you have to look at statistical significance

like a chi squared

as in, a null hypothesis

what percentage chance is there for the data to be explained by random sampling of a random normal distribution

This new feature allows you bind modifier keys that, when held, will force your target selection to enemies, allies, creeps or heroes.
• High-Visibility Local Hero Healthbar. Dota teamfights can be hectic, and sometimes in the chaos it's hard to keep track of your hero. This option significantly changes the styling and readability of only your hero's nameplate.

We fully expect that some of these features (or future Dota Labs ideas) will mature and graduate out, while others may be retired. Which are which depends on you.

I have been having such a bad experience in dota for weeks now

Winrate over the past 100 games is an abysmal 38%

dropped straight from 1.5k mmr to 800

And endless matches with terrible terrible teammates

Today I had a match with a Support NP who kept farming the entire game and feeding the enemy cores with solo deaths every time he ratted and a bb who build a abyssal blade for some reason

The match before that I had a PA who despite the enemies having multiple disables decided that Khanda, Desolator was more important than bkb despite the team asking her to get bkb very early on

I could just keep going on ig

but yeah my experience with this game has been dogshit for nearly a month now

With today's update, we've removed the start-of-match ban phase and replaced it with ban preferences stored with your account. If you load the heroes tab, you can select the four heroes you don't want to see in your games. You're guaranteed when you join a matchmaking game that at least one of them will be banned. You can change your list of banned heroes whenever you want. (If you leave some ban slots empty, it's possible the empty slot will be selected as your "banned hero". In other words, there's no advantage to leaving slots empty.)

Within the new experimental umbrella of Dota Labs, and initially limited to Dota Plus, we're shipping a first pass of a feature that Dota players have been asking us for forever: When you find a match in Dota, Dota Plus will present some information about how the matchmaker evaluated the match, like an estimate of skill range and player behavior scores. You'll have a chance to accept that match or requeue to wait for a match that's better for you and your current preferences.

there have been too many games where i can go 14-0 for 30 mins, our team loses one fight, the enemy team gets to spring back fast

i feel like the highground from t3 and above is way too hard to push

ive lost so many games where ive dominated early game and won so many games where i sucked so much dick but still won because we toughed it out by just camping high ground

its probably a skill issue but this happens so often

i never win any game where i just absolutely crush the enemy team in the first 30 or so mins

if you think 12k is bad you havent seen anything below it

the higher your behavior score the less likely youre find to bad actors, theres always a chance

one thing i recommend doing is playing in party

if you play in a party of 2-3 then the game will autofill with another party of 2-3

meaning instead of playing with 4 other idiots that dont talk to each other, youre playing with another party thats more likely closely communicating with one another

when you dont talk to your team its much easier to lose focus of the game, being in constant conversation about ingame events helps you ground yourself to the game

and make much better decisions

in any way you will just have to accept this

and move on

players that work with each other closely are more valuable than any player of any skill level

this is a team game, after all

it is ideally played with a team of players you can trust
