#mastercomfig not working after playing with nvidia inspector

hey! so... i wanted to see what my game would look like after having mastercomfig low and tweaking lod in nvidia inspector. after booting up the game everything looked the same so i just restored the default settings in NI. then after booting up the game again, the game had normal graphics, even though mastercomfig was in my folder (note: console says "low preset selected", but it doesn't change anything, other addons such as transparent viewmodels work). my guess is that nvidia inspector somehow overwrites mastercomfig? no idea, how would i make mastercomfig work again? (i could just tweak the lod again and make the game look the same, but i don't want to deal with changing to a different config in the future)

What do you mean "normal graphics"
I'm seeing low textures in that screenshot

"normal graphics" meaning textures that are only adjustable using ingame settings, the screenshot is nowhere near mastercomfig low

#

should've probably chosen a different location for the screenshot

Go in game. I'll get you to run a few commands

#

Type this in and tell me what it says it's set to: mat_picmip

Yeah that's normal. Low sets it to that.

Lowest it goes

this is what my game looks right now, even with mastercomfig low in the folders

#

older screenshot, this is what my game looked like before with mastercomfig low, how would i make the ground "blurry" again?

(some screenshots might have nvidia filter, only affects color)

I don't think those are normal. You probably were using lod bias
