While playing on a normal vsh community server I had a couple of crashes saying that I'm out of memory. But I don't have peformance problems and the game only uses like 30-40% of my memory. And a friend who's playing with me doesn't have such problem so I assume it's not the server's fault.

try removing all of the .cache files in custom (there will be one for every VPK you have in custom, and also one in every folder you have in custom, in custom/modname/sound)
