Quick travel between cars

I feel like depending on how the mechanics of the game and weather the technology would be age appropriate, it would be nice to have a sort of system to travel from car to car if you could add a infinite (or relatively large) number of train cars. Some system like hypertubes from satisfactory or maybe even a train on the train(idk sounds redundant).

I wonder if trains will ever get big enough for something like that to be justified. Granted I'd use it with two train cars
