#French vs Caro-Kann

its been so long
The caro-kann is more beginner friendly and it is very easy to learn as there are not many branches like in other openings. You can get very easy winning positions quickly with natural moves. Unlike the french defense which is more difficult to play as you have less space and there are more branches. The light squared bishop is also blocked unlike the caro-kann, where you won't struggle to develop it. 😇
caro because you will forever have that pawn on e6 and your bishop will be very sad
happy 93rd anniversary to this thread
3 neither
doesn't caro have it's bishop out but down a tempo compared to french
hm
French advantages - d4 d5 open centre in a variation Positional game FIANCHETTO POWER 💥Disadvantages - Advanced French the pawn is blocked on e6 and your bishop is sad 😔. Caro Kann Advantages - Bishop happy 😃 can leave Positional game. d4 d5 and a queen’s gambit in the rook for a knight variation in queen’s gambit variation the fianchetto power Disadvantages Kings not on open file can become a queen’s gambit decline and bishop sad 😔
Both support d5
Both positional
Blackmar gambit declined
Panov gambit is the queen’s gambit
e4 e5 and Sicilian are different beasts
I prefer the fascist italy game
Queen’s gambit is possible in both
2
I prefer SICILIAN
play old benoni then xd
d4 c5
bruh when will this end ahh
I put the cereal first and then the milk
kings gambit better
Caro kann is better for giving odds to bad players
Fried liver and missile are good
Intercontinental Ballistic Missile is a good opening, unsound but trap
