Hi everyone! This is my attempt at getting a Best Move prize for this position on my game in the 1st Round of the Chess.com Daily Chess Championship!

The game itself was very interesting - I had a strong attacking position by move 13 but ended up blundering away my advantage with a few inaccurate moves and mistakes. That being said, during the game I still thought I had some pretty decent attacking chances and my opponent certainly felt very uncomfortable trying to defend, which eventually led to him crumbling under the kingside pressure and playing the move 18. f4??, a critical mistake. This is now the position from the first screenshot and white has a tactic that wins the game! But can you spot it? Feel free to think about the position and once you feel like you've figured it out open the spoilers and look below for the answer:

============================================================================

SPOILER: The answer is 19. Rxg7+!!. The pressure on the G file proves decisive and black is in serious trouble! After 19. Nxg7 white can play 20. Rg1! putting pressure on the pinned piece, and in order to avoid a catastrophic loss of material black is left with no choice but to sacrifice the queen on the next move. After this brilliant tactic it was all about converting the resulting position, and my opponent resigned on move 30. Hope you guys enjoyed! :D
