Anyone know anything about Blue Cross Blue Shield's ELTP training program? Would like to know about experiences of people who've gone through it or how it's like to work there in general.

I was an intern one summer… eltp was advertised but I was under the impression it was basically working unpaid for 3-4 months. Pretty much another semester of school just learning how bcbssc runs their it department. I didn’t have the greatest intern experience either, so I didn’t even give it a chance.

The ELTP didn't seem worth it to me. They force you to move Columbia and the base pay is only 65k(i know that that's a lot but compared to other offers it isn't that much). like mentioned before it's pretty much just being in school again. you have assignments that get graded and you have to get a certain grade to pass. also it may just be me but the programs they offered for the ELTP sounded kinda boring

looking at their posting the training period seems to be paid. And yeah everything I read about the program is super vague

the pay isn't the most but tbh my parents live like 20 minutes from columbia so could save a lot on rent hmm
