  1. I'm not sure I quite understand this, the slides are always horizontal, but very unlikely to be rated for 500 lbs, can you elaborate?

  2. I might also not understand this one, but screws are the best bet, even over glue as it appears by "floor" you mean that plywood you've attached to the bed.

  3. If I am following that you intend for this thing to slide in and out, you'll want to keep the weight down where possible.

  4. Outside would probably be easier....

Do you have a working plan here with weight distribution, slide specs, designs, drawings, etc?

They would have 0 weight rating if you rotate them 90 degrees because the bearings will now be useless, bearing no weight.

Respectfully, if you don't think you can accurately sketch it....how are you building it?

If you want your slides to be on the bottom, check out "Undermount drawer slides".

They tend to be more expensive than side mount. They'll take up more vertical space too because they've been engineered to support the weight differently than the side mounted version.
