I have a 4ft workbench. Ineed to add another machine and I have no space. And I have no space for a new bench. Buuuut I'm thinking if I extend only the butcher block top from 4ft to 5ft? preferably 6ft.
If I have 6ft, that gives me a 1ft overhang on either side centered. Well, one of my tools is 65lbs, the other 80lbs, and the last is 180lbs. So I'm thinking, 180lbs in the center, and 65/80 on either size?
But the 80lbs tool does need to be bolted down due to vibrations etc. (it's a mill).
