Good Afternoon,
I am trying to repair interior window trim, for a large room window, that is probably twenty years old.
It has been nearly a month and I am frustrated since I am still repairing it (and paying people to help me).
I know I should of just bought new trim, but I have already applied homemade putty, and am currently in the 220 grit phase.
My process has been to look for holes, fill them with the homemade putty, sand with 80-100-120-180-220, and I finally plan to sand with 320.
What makes it more challenging is that there are five different surfaces on the window frame.
Please advise how I could be more efficient.
Thank you and have a great day!
