first step is have woodworking skills worthy of sale, then a slowly built network of people willing to buy from you
then you can deal with these questions
Understandable. However, I would still like an answer to these questions. I prefer to plan ahead and know what steps and how much money I'm gonna need. I am definitely a beginner but my brother and I are nearly done building our first 16' x 24' shop. We have most tools we need. So we will be beginning to attempt to sell items online within the next few months.
Legitimate businesses need to registered as a business. The ideal type and method vary by locale and a thousand different factors
Yeah I get lost in all the legal mumbo jumbo. Lol.
Then you need to consult a professional
I was hoping maybe there members of this server that have already gone through this process and could break it down in simpler terms.
You're just putting the cart before the horse, and the reality is that the process is in some ways variable depending on where you live
if you're a beginner, its not time to sell furniture
I'm hearing a lot of non-answer answers.
So out of nearly 7k members, none have created a business? And could point a curious person in a good direction? I didn't make the post to ask people's opinions of what I should or shouldn't do. I asked specific questions that I would like specific answers to. If someone doesn't have any of those answers then I don't need to hear from them in this thread. We can chit chat somewhere else.
Several of us have, and are pointing you in a good direction
your specific questions aren't helpful, if I ask you specifically, whether lead paint or bleach are better toppings for a hot dog, you probably wouldnt want to answer
The human race is undoubtedly in decline.
What kinds of things do you make that you want to sell?
