How do i flatten this seam? I don’t have a wide enough jointer or planer, and don’t own a drum sander.
I glued up two pieces of walnut, which i need the faces to be dead flat. When i hold a straight edge perpendicular to the glue seam, there is about a 1/32” gap.
What are some options I have? Would sanding be my only option?

Hand plane is an option, which was not ruled in or out.

+1 hand plane. much better at flattening things than sanding

Hand plane. Might be worth getting one because this is exactly what it's for (among many other uses).
