Hey guys, just getting into whittling (beavercraft c2 knife and basswood arriving tomorrow) and I have a couple of questions. First questions are about sharpening: what is the best bang for buck sharpening tool? Just a leather strop? And how often should I sharpen and hone? Last question is about the finish: I only want one oil (or anything related to finishing, i'm not very knowledgeable about this) for simplicity sake, which one should I get?
