Looking to add a shelf to my table saw rolling cart. I have four 6” studs that I plan on screwing horizontally to the existing legs (face grain to face grain).
Not sure how I should attach the 1/2” plywood to the 6” legs. Pocket holes seem like the easiest choice, but I’m currently out of Kreg screws and am trying to avoid a run to HD, especially since this is just shop furniture.
Could try glue but I’m not sure how well that will work on the end grain of the studs either.
TLDR: do you think glue/screws through the stud’s end grain will be enough for this shelf (don’t expect it to support anymore than 30lbs), or should I suck it up and go get more pocket hole screws?
