#Hi all! Can anyone help me in identifying the type of wood this table is made of?

difficult from a good picture, nearly impossible from a low res picture like this, but I vote cherry
Thank you both for your responses! How can you tell it is veneer?
Well, I mostly mean the top, because that's definitely veneer
the legs and apron may not be. Also, veneer doesn't mean bad
Ikea means bad, Walmart means bad, veneer does not
Ahhh, I’m very new to this so I just assumed it meant bad or cheap
Don't worry about it, it's a very common misconception
Is it the pattern of the wood design that makes it obvious it is veneer?
yep
Sorry if I am asking too many questions. Is this piece worth removing the stain and restaining to make it look new again or nah
Similar to the low confidence species guess, hard to say
Seeing under the top would go a long way for that answer
I'd guess a 90's or so factory desk but looks reasonably well made
Important to note that everything I've guessed here is maybe 50% confidence at the highest, other than being veneered top
Hahahah no worries at all! I am trusting your opinion more than my own. I didn’t even know those patterned tops were veneer.
