maybe, in essence, but more of the question is this just overall an ok thickness that will still be sturdy in someones opinion for a table of that size

The only descriptors so far are "smaller" and 6-8in center piece. So, presently, I barely know what we're talking about.

I just want to know if 3/4th inch thickness is ok for an Oak table top? or if thicker would probably be better
