Is it connected via usb? If so, does the cable work for data transfer on other devices? When was the last time you rebooted your computer? What OS is your computer?

Yes, via USB. It's the same cable that I've always used for access, so I assume it still works. Rebooted PC & rM2 yesterday, running Windows 11

Are there any pending OS updates? Does the usb device show up as connected in the device manager?

Yes, it appears to be connected. No OS updates pending. I'm going to get another data cable to see if this one is damaged.
