We were already a significant way through the new movement system anyway, which replaces the underlying way the track and sensors work, the way trains are rendered, how doors are controlled, and how you control the movement of the train, so it didn't make sense to sink lots of time into trying to undo Roblox's breaking changes when that time can be better spent finishing off this new system.

I've been working on it for the past 7 days every evening and will continue to do so and release as soon as we have the driving part finished.

Then follow-up updates will add back in guarding, dispatching, signalling and passenger roles.

Sorry we couldn't get started on this sooner, but the week before I was unable to work and needed time offline. Once all functionality is back with the help of the new system, we can take more time to fine tune it, but I think we can all agree a rough version that gets the game playable is better than nothing.

Sorry for being away for a while, a lot's happened.

I'm back online again and finishing off an SCR movement rework to add several new features and open the door to more in the future.

I'll post a little more as we get closer to a release

Accelerating the new movement system to be ready asap might mean we roll it out in bits to get parts of the game functional sooner

Better than fixing the current system when we could be spending that time on this new system which fixes lots of other things
