Since leaves decay is disable on the server its super annoying to farm trees, a good fix for this issues could be an item like a diamond hoe that allow us to veinmine tree leaves (only vanilla generated ones) this would make farming trees so much easier.

i'd love this , i have issues w tree farming all the time.
id imagine that since most people cant even figure out crafting recipes, if its a custom item & recipe itll be easier to avoid griefing, vs making it just a hoe ability

As nice as this might be it is very very low priority at best. Limited devtime so focus wouldnt be on this
