a box that can be placed with a receiver's name on it and the receiver can open it without needing the giver to destroy the claim.
additionally, maybe a separate but similar item that only opens if you put the right 'trade' into it, i.e.: box contains 2 beehives, only opens if you put a diamond inside. basically playershop but mia edition i suppose.
would it be better to have it be a stationary thing, or would the successful sale (diamond in this case) automatically appear in inventory?

i suggest this bc i've seen a lot of people drop gifts off for others way far away from their own base, but then that person has to return to break the chest which is really annoying
thats actually a really cool idea
one use chest that dissapear when empty (with a crate texture on it maybe?)
and chest that only give loot in exchange of a certain items, but maybe a certain quantity
like you fill the chest with 10 diamonds
and if player 2 put 3 orth coins inside it he get 3 diamonds
but if he only put 1 he only get 1
We kinda had a similar idea to encorporate mail balloons
So players would craft a balloon and then add in items and then like put the player's name and it would be sent to them.
Then there would be some NPC at Orth that players could interact with and pick up any mail balloons that had been sent to them and by who
For adventure we wanted to make it so that there was different chances of the balloon making it to Orth and crafting better balloons would increase that chance
But for survival I'm happy to just have it add 100% for simplicity atm
Or instead what about adding an option so all of the people who have acess to the block, can destroy it?
Like for example [Destroyable]
What Madi said also seems cool, but if you live close enough, then it's not really worth going all the way to orth and down
thats kind of the point
