Does anyone know how to program drums in the new version of Reaper? I have been trying constantly to use the new Sleep Token plugin and I can't figure out how to

• right click tracklist, "add virtual instrument on new track,"
• find kontakt and add sleep token library.
• Delete excess channels (usually 5 channels is fine for a kontakt library, delete the unused ones).
• in your drum plugin you should have a virtual mixer with virtual outputs. set kick to st.1, snare st.2, toms ALL on st.3, overheads (and other cymbals on st.4) and if you have a room channel, st.5.

Getting the takes right in the beginning is definitely something you'll want to get used to doing

if you sent these to a producer/mixer for a paid commission you'd definitely have to redo them

it all depends on how good you want your product to be

if you have bad takes there's not much a producer/mixing engineer can do

The bass gtr seems to be swallowing up the mid range of the guitars. I would probably turn down your bass by 1-3db and look for mud in the 300-500hz range to scoop out on eq. That range scooped out helps the guitars feel more full and upfront rather than having the bass take charge. I am assuming you want the bass to be tucked more than guitars because that is usually how you want a mix to sound, because the bass just assists the guitars.
