And possibly a 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter for some wired headphones if the interface doesn't have a 3.5mm jack and you only have 3.5mm tipped headphones... That way when recording, you can listen to the playback with asio drivers which have a much lower latency than the windows ones (asio has the same output device as it does input so that's why your headphones will need to be plugged into the interface for you to make use)

tldr, might need a 3.5mm to 6.35mm cable tip adapter to plug headphones into some audio interfaces.

Ahhh, I'm sure you'll learn a song faster than that... Something you'll definetly notice when playing with an amp is that it well, amplifies everything. So all your playing will be loud, have effects, etc but when you make mistakes, that too will become obvious. You'll get used to it but you'll hear noises that you don't hear playing acoustically because the amp will amplify everything you do, so don't feel bad if your playing sounds worse when using the amp, because you'll figure out the proper techniques and avoid those unwanted noises.

Actives just hit an amp in a weird way that sound very different.
Why not get active pickups if that's the sound you are wanting?

The main thing people notice with actives is the high end clarity and dynamic compression...
So i mean if you wanted something like that you would need some bright sounding pickups that are pretty hot.

It won't be as fun but there are ways you can hook up an amp head to your computer so that you can use the amp and simulate speakers with impulse responses, if you really aren't allowed to buy a real cab. I believe you need a load box to do that and I have no experience with those, so you'd need to do some research on those and they can cost a fair bit of money but if buying a cab isn't an option for the moment, that's an option since you already bought the amp and currently can't use it.

I really liked using the Amped Roots free plugin... I stopped using it because I then got Archetype Gojira and the 3rd amp in that plugin sounds pretty similar but if you want high gain tones, Amped Roots is definitely one to try. Otherwise I just used Amplitube 5 CS (which is the free version of Amplitube 5). It's got a fair few amps you could use and pedal effects which you can add and move around in a window on the bottom. Some people like Amplitube, some people don't but can't go wrong with trying the free version because it's got a fair bit versatility (clean tones, distorted tones, etc).

TLDR, Amped Roots if you're looking for high gain, Amplitube 5 CS if you're looking for versitility... There's so many out there, those are just what I used when starting with amp sims.

Ahh yeah, those should work (because there are similar cables that aren't designed to take the low level guitar signals and make them work with computers, the ones you got should work though)... But yeah, If you enjoy playing with the digital sims, a "proper" audio interface such as a scarlett solo, would be a decent upgrade (higher sound quality, more versatility, usable with studio monitors, etc).

When I couldn’t play for more than a minute I worked on it by playing Nyaope by Vulvodynia cause it’s just a simple chugging song, and after a bunch of runs I had built more endurance

When I started playing Backbone by Gojira for the first time, I couldn't make it through the whole song without my wrist hurting and messing up about halfway. After just practicing it whenever I'm just playing around, I can do the whole song (That being said, I sometimes I have timing issues but I have the endurance now to actually practice the song and fix that).
So basically, consistent practice should help. There might be exercises out there but I don't know them.

You can splice up the tracks and for lower sections use a different single chain to clean it up more it just is more versatile

What harsh amp would you say has the most clarity?

I'm trying to find this very specific tone where I can have a whole lot of gain yet still have clarity in chords as if it was a clean amp...
