I want to install the mod charted worlds which requires it to be installed as a dlc, I have never installed mods as dlc and I have a question how to do it? i have to fill in all the information on the left? how do i know what mod has mount priority or internal name LDK

you have opened the DLC starter kit which is for creating new mods. i'm not sure how or why you found this, but it is absolutely not where you want to be - this is for mod developers.

#

i strongly recommend going to the help menu and going through the tutorial for new users.

#

you should be importing charted worlds - as a .7z file - into mod manager and then either importing it into your library (for future use) then installing it, or just installing it directly.

yes I know how to install mods, the question is how to install DLC mods

#

or maybe there is no difference and you install them exactly the same way

the vast majority of mods that you install via mod manager are DLC mods

#

there may be a few that are purely merge mods, but like...90% of the time if you install a mod with m3, you're installing a DLC mod.

#

there is no special procedure.

ok thank you for your help, that's how I was installing mods, but I saw on the nexus that I was supposed to install them as dlc and it confused me

they're probably differentiating between that and mods that change textures and are shipped as .mem files. those are installed by a different programme (mass effect modder) either launched from the tools menu yourself (or launched automatically by batch installer)

#

basically if a file is a .mem file, you wanna install all those in a group at the end and then no more mods that aren't .mem files after that.

#

if it's not a .mem file, it's gonna get installed by the mod manager and it'll be the regular procedure of importing and then installing.
