A question about backup

you only need backup during the modding process. until you get to the game you don't need to back them up. you need to make one before you start modding otherwise you get to wipe and reinstall the game from scratch. (not uninstall - wipe)

backing up launcher is kind of pointless, there are virtually no mods for it.

saves are entirely separate from the backup

then you will need to create a backup before you begin modding

i don't know where these extra folders came from but if you backed up into the mod library you will assuredly break the game when you try to restore

the folder must be empty

those folders should not exist at all

in upcoming build of manager it will reject creating backups in folders that are not entirely empty, in current version this is a bug where it's only checking for files

you will break the game if you try to use this

until you are ready to start modding the game do not worry about making backups.

saves have nothing to do with game backups at all
