- The closest you can get to that is "defensive mode" which is in your online options menu

After today's update on PS4, when I load up the "Online" launcher, I am unable to select "Camp", "Free Roam", etc. If I restart the application 2-3 times it will finally work, but then once in game, I cannot target any NPCs or animals with my weapon. I was attacked by wolves, but when I aimed at them, the indicator was on gray and did not allow me to fire, as if I was trying to shoot an allied NPC????? After 2 min or so, the game crashes, and the whole cycle repeats. What is going on???

this might be a dumb question but does anyone know if the legendary animals appear for people without the naturalist role? I loaded up the game and spawned in and was just idle for a bit when I got prompted for a legendary animal in the area. It was the onyx wolf, killed it, turned it in the gus and now I have the ability to get the garment set

Like it kind of makes sense for them to do that, but with them doing what they're doing they're pretty much showing that they only care about Grand theft Auto v online, and any new online experiences they make they are pretty much just going to neglect because they can't bother to invest time and resources into them.
I think they're just trying to play it safe and stick what they know is making them money, but they're really alienating a lot of their fans in the process on purpose or not.
honestly I'm pretty sure if CD projekt red made games like red Dead redemption and had a previous game that was just as successful as GTA 5, they'd end up supporting all of them equally.
Anyways I just hope that Rockstar decides to start supporting red Dead redemption 2 at some point. And I mean like really support it like they do with GTA 5. The mass delete methods I know is for ps4, so you may be able to find a way on xbox on YouTube. But the long way is to go into the game, and go into social club via the game. (Like when you have the camera out and view photos, or even from the menu)
You’ll go to the little camera section once you enter the social club menu and see all the photos you’ve taken. There’s options to post them to social club, delete them, etc.
The ps4 method is basically deleting the photo save from some folder? But idk if you can do it on xbox. But that is how you delete them 1 at a time.

@brave wraith you have to go to camp and go to the wilderness outfitters then find it there and buy it for camp, be aware though that there is a bug right now which means you may not be able to purchase it

Do stranger missions. It gives more gold than bounty hunting on avg. Unlock the collector role 1st. That role doesn't provide gold bar, but gives huge amount of XP and cash which will be very useful to level up quick and unlock many stuff and buy them. Also do the daily challenges regularly if possible. They are the best eay to earn gold bar for now.
Also do the story missions.
I am relatively new to rdo too. I started after the release of the naturalist update. So I too am still learning. PVP is a big nono until you are good enough for it. I feel like many are using hacks or something. They just one shot me. I am a noob right now, but not that much of a noob.

Try watching the cutscene for it at emerald saloon, read the moonshiner letter from cripps. Complete a trader sell mission with someone who has it, it might show up as an option for you in Wilderness Outfitters equipment after all that

@edgy valley I've read probably every article on the wide web and a few say they have deleted their character and were then able to do it after grinding back up. One guy said rockstar refunded him his gold he bought too. I wouldn't go that route though chances rockstar will refund you are just not worth the risk. No I haven't found anything Like Matt said.

my god... Its been a whole month since Naturalist destroyed my game. I clean installed Rockstar with RDR2 verified the files and run everything as admin always. Nothing. Then reinstalled whole windows 8 system to 8.1 with defragmentation of all hard drives. Then I clean installed win 10 Home with all updates and driver updates. Still the same issue. Games ceep crushing when I open it and try to click on anything in Main Menu (Settings, Online, Story) but not Rockstar Club... Rockstar as always tells me the same Troubleshooting... Im done with them. Im not gonna buy anything new from that developer that can't handle same issues for 10 years

Something ridiculous happened today in one of the stranger missions. I don't know if this is a bug or a basic design fault, I had a daily challenge to complete an Anthony Foreman mission. He was at Saint Denis. I went there, It was a posse assassination mission. I accepted it and voila, the posse members were in blackwater and I had no fast travel due to mission started. The best thing in this is I had only 5 mins to complete the mission. How can rockstar expect me to travel from Saint Denis to blackwater in less than 5 mins without a fast travel?
How can rockstar do this to me? I am not Tom Cruise.

@junior ridge i think your friend is not aware of how to earn gold fast. I think he is not using the daily challenges to earn gold and rather he is depending on story and stranger missions. Because I started playing online after the release of outlaw pass 3/naturalist update (july 28 I believe). It is less than a month now and I have earned more than 100 gold bars. I have unlocked bounty hunter and collector role and also I have enough gold to unlock every other role in a span of one month. Anyone can unlock bounty hunter role if they play for like 10 days. Yes there are micro transactions, but you don't need them to be successful. If you can earn 100 gold bar in a month why would you go for microtransaction?

You have to collect the collectibles. There are different sets of collectibles. The collectibles can be sold as individual pieces or as sets. But sets have more value and give us more money. You can check the pinned messages at #collector
You can earn upto $500 in a go
In the pinned messages there there is a link to map which shows the location of every collectible and also the location of madam nazar for that day. To start the collector role you have to find madam nazar and purchase the collector bag for 15 GB

Rip. I had that error too. I tried so many things that rockstar recommended me, none of those works. I switched from wired internet to wifi and that error weirdly disappeared. I cross-checked by giving wired connection and that error happened again. I was using wired because wifi didn't utilize the full speed of the internet. But this happened. I get 1/4 of the original speed in wifi but still the game works properly and no error happened. Hope this method works for you @calm chasm

@nimble spire I am currently level 48 only. I got bullied so many times. The latest one was yesterday. He was one shotting me almost everytime. I still have my doubts whether he was a hacker or not. But I was adamant on killing him and I finally did it and left the server immediately. I got the satisfaction of the final say😁

I guess this may or may not be really a support question but, Whats the best method to leveling up I Completed all story missions and It just kicked me out into the world with no clue as to what to do

collect gold, unlock stuff. Don't worry about levelling up
do daily challenges daily. It gives you multiplier for gold earned from daily challenges if done daily
daily challenges are the best source for gold bar and collector role is the best source for cash. Everything else is just your personal preference

I mean for the cash thing, if you get the moonshiner and trader role and alternate between the two you can make more than off of the collecter role. It just takes longer to start making lots of money since you need to buy upgrades.

I still can't log in. It's the Rockstar Games Launcher that's the problem.
It just doesn't want to go through.
Currently stuck on Connecting to Rockstar Games Services.
And then, just like now, it loads up the wider box w/ "Offline mode: Could not establish connection".
Then starts up the game, and I'm sure it's gonna tell me that due to no internet connection it cannot identify if I actually OWN the game.

I can't play online, but I can play in the story mode. As for the Activation error, it got fix after deleting the "Social Club" folder in the "Rockstar Games" directory. I'm from EU.

That didn't help. I removed the folder, then actually removed Rockstar Games Social Club and Launcher > verified the game files via Steam > installed them back > problem persists.

Ok now this is interesting so I joined new session waited for 30 min to see if I get kicked (error 0x2 or error 0x1 ) then. I invited my friend to the session and it was going well then his rockstar service failed and I got error0x1 And now my friend can't even join or open rockstar launcher
